Thirty years ago Harusuke Naito, a renowned Japanese sports health scientist and Olympic swimming coach, recognized that certain waters in specific locations around the world seemed to confer unusually good health and longevity in the local population.

Purification
In most Wellness products, water is first treated through sequential layers of SPG sand (an engineered volcanic sand so efficient that it is used in Japan to purify blood for dialysis patients) and the finest coconut shell-derived activated carbon.

These layers treat a broad spectrum of harmful contaminants and polish the water for optimum taste.

Enhancement
After completing purification, water proceeds through multiple layers of enhancement media. Several layers are comprised of unique far infrared ceramics sandwiched in between two layers of magnetite and ceramic magnets.

The far infrared ceramic is made from Tenko-seki, a rare stone which imparts negative ions into the water. These ions provide a mild antioxidant effect and neutralize free radicals on and in the body. Free radicals are believed to be a primary cause of aging and diseases like cancer.

The opposing layers of magnetite and ceramic magnets align the molecular structure of the water making it more soluble and more absorbable by the skin and internal cells.
